Our spiritual work is like a treasure hidden in an attic. You must climb up ten rungs on a ladder in order to reach it. If you stop at the ninth rung, you don’t manifest the blessings.

The kabbalistic calendar is based on the cycles of the moon, with each month affecting us in distinct ways. The New Moon Connection offers awareness and special meditations to help us use the energy of the month to achieve greater happiness & fulfillment.

CONQUERING HATE

426441_10151547190807089_1607659440_n

There was once a kind, old man whose neighbor was about as mean as they come. Every day the neighbor would liter in the old man’s driveway, or call him horrible names. Once, he even pranked the poor fellow, throwing eggs at his lovely home.

One day, the old man decided he’d had enough and that it was time to put a stop to the neighbor’s nonsense. Old as he was, he dragged his lawnmower over to the neighbor’s yard and began to mow it. Just as he was finishing, the neighbor arrived home.

“What are you doing, you crazy old man?” the neighbor asked. “Why did you mow my lawn for me?”

“I didn’t do it for you,” the old man said. “I did it for me.”

The neighbor was so moved by the act of kindness, he never bothered the old man again.

The old man knew a profound truth, that unconditional love is the one thing that can conquer hatred. When we offer love even to our enemies, we can destroy their darkness and dissolve their hatred. ~Yehuda Berg

ONLY LIGHT

There is energy available in the cosmos this week that can assist us in rising above our challenges. This week marks the moment in history when the 72 Names of God was revealed to the world. This was the metaphysical tool used by the Israelites to access the spiritual energy to part the red sea. In Kabbalah, we learn that meditating on the 72 Names of God can assist us in not only discovering our own Red Sea – the obstacles we currently face – but also in overcoming them.

There is a prerequisite though for connecting with this very special energy that is available for us now, and that is to know that whatever challenges we are facing, in a split second the darkness can disappear.

Seeing the bad is okay. Believing the bad will stay is not okay.

Sometimes we lose the motivation to do our spiritual work. That’s okay. Sometimes we even lose our desire to change. That’s okay, too. The one thing that’s not okay is not having the knowledge that everything can change.

When you bring the Light to bear,
the darkness disappears. It simply can no longer exist. To activate the energy available within the 72 Names of God, we need to have certainty that no matter what negativity we see right now and no matter how daunting the challenges we face, someday they will be no more and there will be only Light.

We don’t even need to know how. We just need to know it will be okay.

Then we can do our spiritual work. Then we can receive all the energy that is available for us. Then we can start to engage in the process of change.

This understanding can also provide us with a shift in how we perceive our spiritual work. Whether it’s sharing, meditating, leaving our comfort zone, or studying, we don’t do our spiritual work to cope with life. We don’t even do it to be nice. We do our spiritual work because we have certainty that it will lead to the place where the hurdles before us today will cease to exist.

No matter what darkness is in our lives, there will be Light.

I have worked with a client of mine, Wendy Driscoll that creates art on Metal called Metalation. Incorporating the 72 names of God onto metal as a piece of Art was an enjoyable, meditative creation for me.  I found the subject of the 72 Names of God in my study of the Spiritual Wisdom of Kabbalah with The Kabbalah Center in Boca Raton.  The energy is highly inspirational and I spent the last year creating this for print on metal.  Each 72 name is written in Hebrew, then uniquely named with the energy of that name.  Cost of this piece of Art $720. (includes shipping)  If you are interested in purchasing your own 72 Names of God on Metal, please e-mail me: TheNewElla@gmail.com

72 Names of God ~

The 72 Names are each 3-letter sequences that act like an index to specific, spiritual frequencies. By simply looking at the letters, as well as closing your eyes and visualizing them, you can connect with these frequencies.

To use a physical metaphor to describe what takes place when using the 72 Names, think of a tuning fork, a tool used to establish a precise pitch. When you bring a vibrating tuning fork close to another tuning fork that is not vibrating, the second fork starts to vibrate by the phenomena called ‘sympathetic transference’.

The 72 Names work as tuning forks to repair you on the soul level. It means, practically speaking, that you don’t have to go through some of the more physically demanding tests in life, you can tune your body and soul with the spiritual frequencies your eyes do not perceive.

FINISH WHAT YOU START

Often when people begin a spiritual path, they want change to happen instantly. If it doesn’t, they get frustrated and wonder what’s holding them back. But change doesn’t happen because you’ve taken a class, have knowledge or insight.

Change is a battle.

Developing greater awareness is hard work. At every moment we have to put all our strength into the war against our old way of being, against the part of us that does not want change that is the voice of the negative side. I use the word “war” very deliberately because that’s exactly what it is. For real transformation to take place, we have to fight with everything we have, and when we are knocked down, we have to get up again knowing we are that much closer to winning than we were before.

Rav Brandwein explained that the difference between those who win the battle and those that do not is that those who win knew at the outset that it was a battle and they knew that they would win. Those who do not, lacked this understanding and conviction.

The war of consciousness is much more difficult than any physical battle. It is the war that tests us to become better people, and it is not one that is won easily. We need to know there is a process and to trust in it.

The fruit that is not ripe today will someday be sweet. We will change. Our awareness will grow. It is our collective destiny.

While the ego will always seek immediate results, consciousness is developed and transformation occurs when we embrace the process and remain steadfast in battling our spiritual wars.

As long as we choose to continue the battle, we are engaging in a process of change and remain connected to the Light.

~Yehuda Berg

What has really assisted me in this shift in Consciousness is Meditation. I learned a technique called Conditioned Reflex Response (Ivan Pavlov -1849-1936) from a master hypnotist teacher of mine, Gene Basin.

I created a CD called instant AwAkening that will teach you how to train your brain to enter an Alpha State of Consciousness through an easy step by step Guided Meditation.

Sharing with you what has assisted me in transformation of the Soul. Wishing you Mercy in 2013, through transformation ~Dawn Ella

ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY

Energy of the Week
December 2nd – December 8th, 2012

Ayin Resh Yud
ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY

I have absolute certainty that what is right will happen, through proactive behavior. I take complete responsibility for my life and know that I am getting what I need right now.

I see past doubts and banish them from my realm. Filled with certainty and trust, there is no room for ambiguities. My conviction is strong.

Absolute certainty, in all areas of my life, is mine.

It’s hard to remember that the Light is always with us. It’s easy to have certainty during the good times, but in the moments that seem dark or difficult, we can forget the Light is there still.

Consider a situation where a man misses his flight. Maybe he is furious because he has so many things to do at his destination and so many are depending on him. Little does he know that his soul mate is sitting next to him as he waits, desperate to get on a standby flight.

Now, if he becomes angry or depressed, sulking in a situation he sees as horrible, he can become so consumed that he may never notice the woman sitting to his left.

If he chooses instead to be proactive and to seek the Light in this situation, if he surrenders to the situation remembering to trust and appreciate that the Light is working on his behalf, he might choose to strike up a pleasant conversation with the woman next to him.

It is in fact in moments like these, the ones that are really chaotic or distressing to us, that our greatest blessings are hiding. When we choose not to be reactive and have certainty in the order of the universe, we can discover the real reason why it is happening.

One kabbalistic sage would always tell his students, “This too is for the best,” no matter what was happening.

The Creator intends only what is best for us. Always.

~Yehuda Berg

Blessings of Light and Certainty to you all this week, may you feel the Light of the Creator intending the best for you! Ayin Resh Yud ~Dawn Ella
